THE GODFATHER: PART II

When what you’ve been protecting all along becomes the very thing you decide to renounce.  

This is a film about cause and effect. How ones incline in the criminal world decades ago results in the spoiling and individual declines of his offspring. There is not one black sheep in the flock, they all are. Tainted with their own shade that came originally in the form of loving intentions from their father. 

With him gone as head of the family, the traditions and values he kept are lost with him. The glue doesn’t stick no more without pressure. The pieces are all there on show and a changing world will highlight their sharp edges. Though, still, they are too sharp to pick up. But, with every piece discarded they appear more and more broken.
